Glass Bottle Canister-Waves

A rescued glass bottle forms this sturdy and graceful canister. A bottle headed to the incinerator just needed some wavy, sandblasted details to reveal the dual-tone glass. This object is great at holding kitchen utensils, markers, clay tools, paintbrushes, or cool sticks.

This work is part of a series called: Conscious Oddments. Work consists of discarded materials designed for the presently human home & the future oceanic home. The upcoming generation to inherit these objects could be our underwater neighbors due to marine pollution and rising sea levels.
