Glass Bottle Vase- At The Shore

A rescued glass bottle forms this elegant and artful vase. This bottle was headed to the incinerator but just needed some beachy sandblasted details! Etched on the glass are a shark, a stingray, a light house, and a folding beach chair. This object is great at holding flowers, markers, clay tools, paintbrushes, or cool sticks.

This work is part of a series called: Conscious Oddments. Work consists of discarded materials designed for the presently human home & the future oceanic home. The upcoming generation to inherit these objects could be our underwater neighbors due to marine pollution and rising sea levels.
