PROJECT WHALE SHARK 2018

This is Project Whale Shark; a dream concept of a submersible vessel that houses scientists and artists in a journey to clean this planet's polluted seas. I carved and printed prototypes that show the outside appearance and the inside functions of the submarine. A few circular paintings depict the vessel moving in the water and how it cleans the ocean surface. The wave of trash that emerges from the wall is made out of only glue and waste found on the beach in a 200 square foot area in Brigantine, NJ. This project gives researchers and creatives a place to work to make the world a better place.
